First Week Funk? Corny mo na, Ale.

My first week as a student in La Salle went by like that. *snaps finger* I mean, parang one day pa lang kami dun pero in reality, we're on our second week next week. Damn. I'm really enjoying my stay in La Salle...for now. Hahaha. I've got the best blockmates I'll ever have and the best sked I ever had. Hahaha. Ewan ko na lang if I'll feel the same way 2 or 3 months after, when we get to business. Pero I think I will. I mean, I've always wanted to be a La Sallian. So why not, diba?

My professors were all good. Kahit yung iba medyo strict...Sige na nga, sobrang strict, there's still a part of them na kaya kaming patawanina. Hahaha.

I've seen almost all famous-slash-prominent faces in La Salle during that one week. From Kitchie Nadal to Japoy Lizardo.

The trip from Pasig to Taft and the way back's hella tiring. But I really don't care. I mean, if you'd get to hangout with the zaniest people *waves at Lau, Cuyeg and Ian* in the train, *poof*, wala na ang pagod mo!

Anyway, Santugon's recruiting me to join them. (FYI: Santugon's a political party in DLSU) I really, really, REALLY want to join but then again, I think I should focus first on adjusting (some more) in my new environment. Once I'm well-adjusted, I'm ready for Santugon. Wahoo!

I've hungout with almost everyone in our block during that one week. I know, it's weird. I mean, I'm usually an introvert. Pero dun sa block namin, to get to know everyone, ako yung nag-effort. Congratulate me! Nge, pilitin ba?

What happens next week, nobody knows.

First Day Funk a la La Salliano.

Hah. LSS ko yan the whole day, thanks to Nique. Hahaha.

My first day was really...Uhm...NAKAKATANGA! Siyempre, kahit na-tour kami nung LPEP, iba parin yung andun ka na with the upperclassmen. Hahaha. Anyway, me and my new-found friends were really insecure, siyempre, halos lahat ng tao nakatingin samin kasi isang kumpol kaming naglalakad sa campus.

My teachers were fine. My Critical Thinking professor was really nice kahit na mahina ang boses niya at mejo monotonous magsalita. It's all good. Or baka sakin lang.

Saya ng block namin, puro tawanan at kulitan. Grawr. Ale, wag masyadong mag-trust. That could get you into trouble.

LPEP = WELCOME TO LA SALLE! *perky voice*

The day was super SAYA! Tiring pero masaya.

- Block 19 = WE ARE THE BEST! LR-19, EXTRA STRONG!
- Blockmate ko si Lauren Montino. Lucky me, may Paulinian akong blockmate.
- Everyone in our block was really friendly. Became bonded with everyone right away.
- Had a tour around La Salle. Mainit.
- Mass: Yung pari ang lakas manakot. Being the scaredy cat that I am, I swore never to pass by that chapel during night time. Well, except if someone would be willing to accompany me and freak out with me when we both see the headless Japanese or the crying lady. *shiver*
- Wazzup, Wazzup was there! They chose CLA for their campus segment thing-a-ma-bob (Wazzup with U). Pinalabas na sa Wazzup kanina. Kung ano yung hinaba nung dun sa Sports Complex, yun yung inikli nung sa segment. Hrmmm.
- ANIMO LA SALLE!
- "Hail, hail, hail to the Alma Matah..."

May 20

COLLEGE CONVOCATION = TALKS

The opposite of LPEP. Less energy was required but I still had fun (weird me)!

- Corporate attire. Sara and I never really got the idea on why we had to wear something like that while we only sat in the auditorium for 3 whole hours.
- Ang ingay ng block namin, napagalitan kami ng Vice Dean. Hahaha. Shows my block's really good. :D
- The University President gave us a 6-decade rosary that "binds all La Sallians".
- Bought our PE uniforms. Isang buong block kami dun sa botique nila. Hahaha.
- Everyone called each other "blockmate". Hahaha.

Damn. Two days of orientation made me more convinced that La Salle is definitely the school to be.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARCO BORJA AND MAAN LIPANA!

My mom and I went to Galle, sale dun for 3 days (May 13, 14, 15). I bought clothes, para sa school. Was damned tired when I got home but still managed to have a chat with Jopet. Siyempre.

May 14

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHARMAINE MATIVO AND KRYZELLE CRUZ (+)!

My family and I were eating lunch when my dad said "Punta kaya tayo sa Lucban ngayon? Pahiyas bukas e.". Then all of a sudden, everyone were packing their bags. We left at around 4 in the afternoon. Since we don't know how we'd get to Lucban, one of Tatay's friends agreed to convoy. We met sa Shell in SLEX. Grabbed a bite in Jollibee. Travel time was 5 hours, I think. Hindi lang pala sa Lucban ang fiesta. Sa Sariaya din and the town with the first letter "T" na hindi ko maalala kung anong lugar yan. We passed by some prettyful-ly designed houses on the way to Lucban.

I didn't have pics nung houses sa Sariaya 'cause we were moving. Yung mga magagandang houses laging mabilis madaanan. Nakuha ko lang yan kasi traffic. Hahaha.

We reached Lucena at 'round 10pm. We ate dinner. We were supposed to sleep in the Meralco resthouse there pero nakakahiya. Presidente ng Meralco dun matutulog.

Then I suddenly realized na tiga-Quezon nga pala si Dean. I texted her. But she didn't reply.

We went to my mom's friend, Tita Zoray in Lucban after dinner. She advised us to sleep in a boarding house in Lucena. We went there after one hour and slept. Ang natatanging problema dun e walang signal ang Sun. Other than that, okay naman na. Talked to Jopet before I slept. It's like a ritual. Hahaha. I love you, Baby.

May 15

Woke up at 5am which made me really cranky 'cause I don't usually wake up early. Anyway, after fixing up, we then went to Tita Zoray's place once again to eat breakfast. After breakfast, we went to see the houses.


This is the first house we saw. Pretty!

Me and my bro sa isang house na may waterfalls. Exaj. Kaso di na kita yung waterfalls e. Hahaha.


This was the prettiest and the coolest house I saw. Ganda nito! Super perky. We just didn't have shots on the rest of the house kasi ang daming tao. Nagtutulakan. Hehehe.


Ito naman yung house na inayos ng Meralco for the festival. Kinda simple compared to the other houses.


I'm with the new mascots of Meralco. Nina Laginghanda and Engr. Jose Mahusay.

Remember my horoscope last May 12?



We'll, it was sorta true. I've seen a bunch of Paulinians wandering in Quezon. I thought I saw Chec buying a hat nga e. And yeah, Dean IS from Quezon. Lucban, specifically. Luckily, their house there is near Tita Zoray's place. I went to get her and pinaghintay ako ng KONTI (haha.) sa initan. Her dad was shocked. "Oh, ka-tropa ni Katrina, andito rin! Anong ginagawa mo dito?". Hahaha. We walked and walked and walked and hindi kami makahanap ng bilihan ng water. Haha. Well, we really didn't catch up with each other lives. We just enjoyed each other's company, I guess. We spent almost half of the day together and parted when I needed to go back kasi uwi na kaming Manila.

The trip back to Manila took 3 hours, the most.

28 months and still counting? YES.

Sorry na kung nung grad ko pa yung pic. Hahaha. I love you Babe.

*Taba, thanks for everything. Alam kong narinig mo nang lahat ng yan and it would probably hurt your ears na. Puro kasi sorry pinagsasasabi ko. We've been through a lot. And I mean A LOT. Mga kapraningan natin sa mga bagay-bagay. Alam mo na. But still we don't let that hinder our relationship. Alam naman nating pareho na balewala yung mga yun dahil napagdaanan na natin yung isa sa mga ultimate tests: yung pagiging malayo natin sa isa't isa. And everything won't end there kasi hindi na talaga 'to mag-end (I hope). The road's been rough, I know, kaya nga sobrang thankful ko na hindi ka pa rin bumibitaw; and if ever the rest of the journey will be tougher, ok lang. Anjan ka naman e. I love you, Baby. SOMETHING SMELLS FISHY. AS USUAL, HANGGANG PAKIKIRAMDAM NA LANG AKO. BULLSHIT.

Enrolment went well... Hah! A first!Ü

Went to Taft to enrol. Buti na lang maaga kami kundi namatay kami sa dami ng tao. My dad accompanied me since the enrolment "proper" (payments and all that jazz) and my medical exam is sabay. (Woeh? Pa-connio? Am I turning into someone like Royal? Damn.) Jopet texted me and told me he was there na so before I went to get my medical check-up, dumaan ako dun. He accompanied me there. Ayun. There were these two guys who kept on pissing the nurse off. Hahaha. Wala lang. Shinare ko lang, anu naman sayo? Hahaha. Anyway, after I got my ID picture taken, we looked for Royal. He's Jopet's cousin. Jopet's CONNIO cousin. He graduated from LSGH 2 years ago and he's in DLSU now. Wala lang ulit.

COMMERCIAL: Ran! Royal Resurreccion's from the party Santugon. If you're pushing through with your plans na tumakbo for Student Council, Santugon ka na lang. Woeh? Hahaha. Kelan ka ba uuwi dito? Wala lang. Tanong lang. Feeling maangas. Hahaha. Mishuuuu!

Anyway, Royal gave us a "tour" around La Salle. Tinuro niya kung ano yung mga buildings dun and kung saan masarap kumain na mura. Pati bilihan ng yosi tinuro niya. As if naman nagyo-yosi ako no. He took both Jopet and me at the sports complex to see Francis. Oo na, puro Resurreccion boys na kasama ko. Anyway, Kuya Francis was there, playing ball with a couple of his DLSU and Benilde friends.

COMMERCIAL: After 3 years, Benilde will be a part of DLSU na rin. As in aalisin na yung "College of St. Benilde" sa pangalan ng school. Wala lang ulit.

We went to Mcdo and grabbed a snack. They (Royal and one of his friends) helped me "decode" my sked. And we all went home. The End.

Sorry if I seem excited about DLSU. It's just that I've always wanted to be a La Sallian. As in matagal na. Gusto ko nga sana nun mag-highschool sa Zobel e. Wala lang. I remember pa nga gusto din nila Nique, Kuya and my Baby na mag-La Salle din e. Well, Jopet passed La Salle pero hindi niya gusto yung course niya dun. Oh well.
